Where do I work?

At OLO-Rotonde, I primarily work with adolescents and young adults. My focus remains on complex, multidisciplinary diagnostics, formulating case conceptualizations, and creating personalized treatment plans. I specialize in applying trauma-sensitive approaches and leading interprofessional peer supervision (intervisie) to support team-based care.

Additionally, I serve as a Psychiatric Consultant and am involved in several projects related to neurodiversity. These include Auticonnect, Turbobreinen, and serving as the lead lecturer for a new Postgraduate degree in Neurodivergence at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Antwerp, launching in September 2026. This year, I also hope to help develop an online platform designed to assist individuals with executive dysfunction in overcoming mental blocks together with Kristien from Organice.

In early December 2025, I formally began my PhD: "Tangled Roots: Attachment and Trauma in the Context of ADHD and Autism," under the supervision of Prof. Saskia van der Oord and Prof. Ilse Noens at KU Leuven.

Why Neurodiversity? Why Brainspark?

I am a healthcare professional who knows firsthand what it means to be neurodivergent. I have personally experienced how current mental health services struggle to recognize and support clients with ADHD and/or autism. I am driven to help change that.

Brainspark began as a passion project, and it still is just that. I want to do more than just encounter the limits of our colleagues' knowledge and comfort, I want to help them transcend those limits. Alongside my full-time jobs, I dedicate my personal time to developing tools that introduce others to what truly helps in the world of neurodivergence.
